Dear esteemed participants,

It is my utmost pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all of you to the 6th International Conference on Applied Science and Technology (ICAST), which will be held from the 20th to the 22nd of October 2023 in the beautiful city of Tarakan, Kalimantan Utara. As the General Chairman, I am honored to have the opportunity to host this significant event under the theme of “Strengthening Partnership through Multidisciplinary Research: Dissemination of Best Practices in the Disruptive Era.”

In today’s rapidly evolving world, the importance of collaboration and multidisciplinary research cannot be overstated. We are witnessing an era of profound disruption, where advancements in science and technology are reshaping every aspect of our lives. To navigate through these disruptive times successfully, it is imperative that we come together, share our knowledge and experiences, and forge strong partnerships across disciplines.

ICAST has always been a platform that fosters the exchange of ideas, innovations, and best practices among scholars, researchers, industry professionals, and practitioners from around the globe. It serves as a conduit for the dissemination of groundbreaking research and facilitates productive discussions that pave the way for future collaborations.

During this three-day conference, we have meticulously curated a diverse program that encompasses a wide array of topics, including but not limited to applied sciences, technology, engineering, health sciences, environmental studies, and social sciences. We have invited esteemed speakers who are renowned experts in their respective fields, and their insightful keynote addresses and plenary sessions will undoubtedly broaden our perspectives and inspire new avenues of research.

In addition to the keynote presentations, the conference will feature parallel sessions and interactive workshops.
